The Mission of Missouri City Fostering Young Adults & Seniors inc., (MCFYAS) is to improve the health and life opportunities of at-risk youth using a comprehensive approach aimed at developing their capabilities.

Preserving Heritage
We organize cultural events that showcase and preserve the rich heritage of our community. Through exhibitions, performances, and workshops, we aim to engage, educate, and celebrate our cultural legacy.
Youth Empowerment + Organizing
We believe in the power of our youth to lead local and national change.
Our mission is to empower youth to inspire each other and become leaders for social change, together.
Our vision is a society where young people are partners in creating the just, equitable, and healthy world that we all deserve.
Our Youth Empowerment+ Organizing programs provide supportive communities for high school and college-aged youth to gain skills of leadership, critical thinking, emotional awareness, and creative expression.
We welcome all youth from the City of Houston and northwest suburbs with any background or level of experience.
All of our programs offer opportunities for youth to have one-on-one conversations with our Youth Organizers.
These one-on-ones serve as opportunities for youth to set personal goals, whether that’s to work on mental health, boost grades, start a new hobby, get a job, or prepare for college.
